In 2005 Zhitsky and Kuzhavsky were noticed globally thanks to their Renault Formula-1 racing car that they did in Japanese ink wash technique.
In 2008 they launched a fine jewellery brand OPENJART (OPEN+Jewellery+ART) that renounced traditional jewellery designs while preserving the highest manufacturing standards.
The very first collection called Diamonds Inside was mocking the status show off function of diamond jewellery and got RedDot Design Award (Germany, 2009).
The next As-Usuals Collection featured the everyday objects, like pasta shapes and hardware, re-thought in gold and silver to become eye-catchy ironic and beautiful jewellery.
